Proudly hailing from Oak Cliff (a huge section on the Southside of Dallas Texas), Chrystian Carroll, known as C-Thru, brings an element of versatility to the hip-hop culture like no other. Inspired by watching rap videos at age 8, C-Thru realized music was his passion and later released his first mixtape at 14 years old. 

Conscious lyrics and charismatic rhythms combined with undeniable talent, C-Thru is a force to be reckoned with. Coined by a friend, the name C-Thru represents the transparency and openness displayed in his art. 

Adding the titles of actor, screenwriter and director to his repertoire, his current venture includes filming and starring in a mini-series written and directed by him called “Another Oak Cliff Tale”. Backed by world-renowned director Spike Lee? The comedic drama is loosely based on his struggles and successes as an up-and-coming artist. 

His vast creativity gives him the ability to be dynamic in order to keep his fans engaged and on the edge of their seats anticipating what he’ll do next.
